Janine L. Flood, O.D.

Dr. Janine Flood graduated from the OSU College of Optometry in 1984.  She is fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association and Ohio Optometric Association. She has served as a clinical instructor at the OSU College of Optometry Pediatric Clinic where she was part of a research team studying the

development of vision in infants. She also participated in research developing methods of measuring visual acuity in infants.

Dr. Flood is very involved in volunteer work, giving time to Vision USA, Licking County Community Health Clinic, Newark Lions Club, First Presbyterian Church/Granville and Healing Art Missions. Healing Art Missions is a medical mission group that supports a medical clinic in Haiti. Dr. Flood serves on its board of directors and has organized an eye clinic that provides eye care to over 10,000 people in Haiti. This clinic focuses on treating glaucoma, cataracts and providing eyeglasses to people who previously had no access to eye care.

Dr. Flood resides in Granville with her husband Mike and their children Stephanie and Jason.
